This wine is produced from vineyards located in the village of Chaintre next to the villages of Pouilly and Fuisse. The vineyards are part of a wine growers cooperative. The members have small vineyards and have grouped them together to obtain economies of scale with talented wine maker ability to purchase new oak every year and engage high tech modern bottling equipment. They control 35% of the Pouilly-Fuisse and influence the market. This wine is hand harvested and vinified in stainless steel tanks. 30% is then aged in French oak barrels for 8 – 10 months before bottling. The classic 2015 vintage is a rich long-lasting wine. Extremely well balanced with excellent fruit and acidity combining to produce a wine that will go extremely well with food or enjoyable alone.
