Weingut Dürnberg is located in the traditional wine village of Falkenstein, which also happens to be the historical heart of the Weinviertel. Wine-growing has been documented here since the 12th century. And between the 13th and 17th centuries, all wine-growing business affairs between Vienna and Brno were administered by Falkenstein. Today, the wines reflect a wine culture built on both the old and the new with their unique aromatics and deep spice.
The cool character of the white wines, with their vital acidity structure, is the result of an exceptional terroir. Thanks to excellent soils and a highly favorable climate, the grapes reach an ideal level of ripeness and develop vibrant aromas and flavors.
