Job Description: Restaurant Hostess

We are seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our restaurant team as a host. The host is responsible for welcoming and seating guests in a professional and efficient manner, managing reservations, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front of house.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they enter the restaurant, offer assistance with seating and menu recommendations
• Manage reservations and waitlist using our reservation system
• Maintain a clean and organized front of the house, including the host stand and waiting area
• Assist with answering phone calls and taking to-go orders
• Assist with other tasks as needed, such as refilling drinks and restocking supplies

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
• Positive attitude and friendly demeanor
• Basic computer proficiency (familiarity with reservation systems is a plus)
